Job summary

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Readiness in NEW YORK, NY. You will serve and safeguard clients across tech/media/telecom environments, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

This full-time position offers an hourly pay rate of $19.86 – $20.86, a night/overnight schedule (Mon–Sun 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM), and

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain a visible, professional presence while communicating with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.
