Job summary

Allied Universal in West Columbia, SC is seeking a full-time Security Officer to protect client sites and maintain a visible security presence. You will conduct patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and coordinate with site leadership to uphold safety protocols.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.

• Background check and drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology/logistics location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and verify credentials; maintain accurate visitor/incident logs.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms and escalate as needed.
• Communicate shift activities and security observations with site leadership.
