Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the perimeter.
• Help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity through visible patrol presence and observation.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following site procedures.
• Document and report observed incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
