Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer for full-time unarmed patrol services in Portland, OR. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service at a financial institution.

You will communicate professionally, support a welcoming environment, and use computer or tablet tools as needed. The role emphasizes integrity and teamwork within a dynamic workplace.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within and around the location, reporting unusual conditions or potential concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting and communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with maintaining a professional, welcoming presence while supporting access control, visitor direction, and adherence to site policies.
