Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Reading, PA to protect clients across various industries, including government service centers. You will perform armed/unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, comfort with computers/tablets, and a background check. Schedule: Daytime with evening shifts, full-time, at $16.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government service center by following security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas, parking, entrances, and perimeter to identify/report issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, directing individuals to service areas as needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies and notify site contacts or emergency personnel.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate findings to leadership and site representatives.
