Job summary

Prosegur in Sparks, NV seeks an Unarmed Security Guard for swing shift (Mon-Thu 2pm–10pm). You will help maintain a safe environment for customers and employees and provide professional security services at client sites.

The role requires English communication, 18+, a CA Security Guard Card, and at least one year of security experience. You will perform patrols, write clear reports, supervise officers, and use access control technology as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• CA Security Guard Card required.
• Minimum 1 year security experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public professionally.
• Prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Manage security services including staffing, scheduling, payroll, supervision and training at an assigned site.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of security officers.
• Read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Utilize access control technology at client sites.
• Handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
