Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc. in Sparks, NV is seeking an on-call Unarmed Security Officer. You will maintain a safe environment, perform routine foot patrols, and provide professional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees. The role requires alertness, basic computer skills, and ability to follow complex instructions.

Shifts are six days per week with two different schedules; pay rate is $24.00 per hour with weekly pay. Nevada license number 2187 may be listed.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Clean driving record and valid driver license
• Capable of following complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process including drug screen and background investigation
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• NV Guard Card (PILB)
• CPR/ First Aid Certification

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• Be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• Perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
