Prosegur is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the 3rd shift in Sparks, NV. The role covers guarding duties, client interaction, and the supervision of security operations at an assigned site.

Responsibilities include completing written reports, utilizing access control technology, and maintaining a safe environment for customers and staff. A CA Security Guard Card and 1 year of experience are required, with strong English communication skills and a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• CA Security Guard Card
• Minimum 1 year security experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Clean driving record and valid driver license
• Capable of following complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• Prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Manage security services and related operations including preparation of post orders, staffing, scheduling, payroll, supervision and training at an assigned site.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of security officers, ensuring effective performance and adherence to protocols.
• Read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
• Utilize access control technology at client sites.
• Respond to emergencies, investigate disturbances, and help ensure safety and security of people and property.
• Handle both routine and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
