Job summary

Allied Universal, Des Moines, IA, is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Observation to safeguard clients across industries, including food/beverage locations. The role is full time with daytime to evening shifts and a pay rate of $18.96 per hour.

You will patrol, monitor access points, respond to incidents, document observations, and maintain a professional, customer-focused presence on site. Minimum requirements include being 18+, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and access concerns calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor/employee traffic per site requirements.
• Document observations and incidents and communicate during shift handoffs.
