Job summary

Allied Universal in Des Moines, IA is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer Patrol Reporting to protect clients at a busy logistics and distribution site. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication.

HS diploma or equivalent is required.
Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security procedures and site policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading docks, yards, parking areas, entry/exit points, and perimeter.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and document observations.
Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
