Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Sandston, VA to protect a financial institution and staff. You will provide customer service, patrol premises, monitor access points, and enforce site policies with a professional presence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a Corrections Officer License.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Criminal histories considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution per site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and urgent situations and document actions taken.
• Report hazards and maintenance concerns to site contacts.
