Job summary

Allied Universal in Statesville, NC is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver to protect clients across tech/media/telecom sites and provide excellent service. This full-time, on-site role requires a valid driver’s license and a courteous, proactive presence.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required by Allied Universal policy.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a technology location by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner; notify site contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Perform regular foot and vehicle patrols of offices, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report unauthorized access attempts.
• Prepare accurate security reports and logs related to patrols, incidents, and access activity.
