Allied Universal in Whitsett, NC seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting to protect clients across technology-focused facilities. You will monitor sites, perform routine patrols, deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service while following security procedures and reporting protocols.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, have a high school diploma, pass background checks and drug screening, and can operate a computer or tablet.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by following site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following escalation/reporting procedures.
• Conduct routine and random patrols of offices, common areas, and perimeters to identify hazards or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as assigned, maintaining orderly entry/exit.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and shift communications per site requirements.
