As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Statesville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credentialing procedures in accordance with site policies; report unauthorized access attempts and/or unusual activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
