Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Marion, IN to monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, and support access control with a strong focus on customer service. The role requires a high school diploma, background check, and drug screening where permitted, with duties including regular patrols and incident reporting.

This full-time, unarmed position offers a daytime schedule and an hourly pay rate of $17.00.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas and perimeter, to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
