Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Patrol) in Marion, IN. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, and monitor access to deter security incidents while supporting badge and access control processes. Schedule includes Sat and Sun, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with a pay rate of $15.23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Observe loading docks, materials storage areas, and vehicle traffic patterns for security-related concerns and report findings according to site procedures.
