Job summary

Allied Universal in Marion, IN is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol to safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and support access control while delivering courteous customer service.

Joining our agile team means working a full-time schedule with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour, plus benefits. The role requires compliance with background checks, drug screening, and state licensing requirements where applicable.

Qualifications

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver{}'s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location and verify authorized entry.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and emergency responders.
