Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Customer Care in Spanaway, WA. The role involves serving and safeguarding clients across various government locations, performing unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, and documenting security activities.

You will interact with staff and visitors, ensuring procedures are followed and emergencies are handled calmly. The position is full-time with a pay rate of $24.84 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff and the public at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization; maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional presence and provide directions and assistance to the public.
