Allied Universal, a leading security services company, seeks a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol for an overnight schedule in Spanaway, WA. You will monitor facilities, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining access control and a visible presence.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, the ability to claim additional shifts, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Must be 18+ with HS diploma and pass background/drug screens.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and agencies as directed.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity per site procedures; report unauthorized access.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required security documentation.
