Job summary

Allied Universal in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Building Access Control to protect tenants and visitors at a premier commercial property. You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism.

This full-time role offers daytime schedule, competitive pay of $22.50 per hour, and opportunities for training, health benefits, and career growth within a dynamic security team.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience using an alarm panel is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office buildings, parking areas, common areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific procedures.
