Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer at our Monee, IL site to protect employees and visitors, perform patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and the ability to communicate clearly; you will work a schedule including early morning shifts, with a focus on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees and visitors at a technology-focused site by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot/vehicle patrols of the facility and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and enforce badge/delivery policies.
• Document patrol observations and incidents and communicate with site leadership.
