Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• A background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by following site-specific procedures and policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity while assisting with directions and information.
• Prepare incident reports and logs, and communicate information to supervisors and stakeholders.
