Allied Universal offers a rewarding career as a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in Bessemer, AL. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications site.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour. Schedule includes DayTime shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• State/city security license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and report concerns to site leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate with client personnel and emergency responders as needed.
