Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Full Time Unarmed Security Officer in Carrollton, TX to protect clients across tech, media, and telecom sites. You will patrol facilities, monitor access, respond to incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while documenting observations and reporting to leadership and client teams.

The role emphasizes a visible presence, adherence to site policies, and collaboration with teams to ensure safety and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and reporting incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate relevant information with Allied Universal leadership, client representatives, and emergency responders as needed.
