Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Chantilly, VA. You will provide security, greet visitors, and support a safe, welcoming environment at a technology-focused site.

Responsibilities include patrolling interior and exterior areas, monitoring access, and responding to incidents with professionalism. Minimum 1 year of security experience, HS diploma, background check, and drug screen are required; valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and document observations, incidents, and shift activities.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal post orders.
