Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol Compliance) in Chesapeake, VA. You will monitor and safeguard clients, conduct patrols, and support access control while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted according to federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location, following site policies and emergency procedures as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns with calm, problem-solving approach and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report irregular conditions or suspicious activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs of patrols, incidents, and observations.
