Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications in Playa Vista, CA. You will monitor, protect tenants and visitors, conduct patrols, verify access, and respond to incidents with professional service.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership, and help support a professional environment.
