Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications in Playa Vista, CA to monitor and safeguard clients across industries. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors.

Responsibilities include verifying access, reporting incidents, logging activities, and supporting a professional security environment. A Guard Card is preferred, and HS diploma is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership, and help support a professional environment.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
