Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications in Playa Vista, CA to protect clients across commercial real estate and other sectors.

As part of a collaborative team, you will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, and maintain detailed logs while delivering exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors. A background check and drug screening are required by law.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security experience.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Driver's license for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership, and help support a professional environment.
