Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a full-time Unarmed Security Guard in Los Angeles, CA. You will patrol, monitor, and protect tenants and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service while upholding site procedures and incident response.

Requirements include 6 months security experience and a high school diploma. A Guard Card is preferred; background checks and drug testing may apply.

Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required; subject to drug screening as permitted by law.
• Reasonable driving position requirements apply only to driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property areas to deter incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or policy violations to management.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting patrols and incidents.
