Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Redondo Beach, CA on a part-time basis. You will patrol, deter incidents, monitor areas, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff, maintaining a visible presence across the site.

The role requires a minimum age of 18, a high school diploma or equivalent, and passing background and drug screenings as per laws. A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and shoppers by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols in retail common areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports and patrol documentation.
