Job summary

All Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Flex - unarmed in Los Angeles, CA. You will perform patrols, monitor entrances, and respond to alarms, using a shift-pickup platform to view open shifts and build a flexible schedule.

This role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license if applicable, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. 18+ and strong communication are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; may be required before employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check per federal/state/local laws; deemed acceptable if compliant.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe personnel to protect property; ensure authorized removal of property per client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
