Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Licensed Patrol Driver in Whittier, CA. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, at least one year of security experience, and a high school diploma. The role includes reviewing site procedures and reporting incidents to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Guard card/license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, families, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout memorial grounds, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity and conditions requiring attention.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to maintain orderly operations during services, events, and daily visitor hours.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal reporting requirements.
