Qualifications

• Criminal background check will be conducted as part of employment

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, families, staff and vendors per site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances with calm professionalism and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of grounds, buildings, parking areas, entry points and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions, and report maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports per site policies.

Pay Rate: $22.03 / Hour

• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, families, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a memorial park location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of grounds, buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
