Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Criminal history considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail staff by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity to leadership and supervision.
• Document incidents and patrols, communicating information to appropriate personnel.
