Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Site Inspection) in Whittier, CA. You will patrol the site, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible presence.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Qualifications

Customer service experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
Background check will be conducted as a condition of employment.
Ability to operate computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, stockrooms, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
