Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer (Patrol Driver) in Austin, TX. This full-time role protects clients at aerospace/defense facilities, monitors access, patrols premises, and delivers professional customer service in line with Allied Universal’s values.

The position requires an active DoD Secret clearance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents.

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
Valid driver’s license required per policy.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
18+ (unarmed) or 21+ (armed) before employment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check will be conducted.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures.
Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter, documenting observations.
Monitor access and verify credentials per site procedures to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations and notify appropriate contacts.
Complete daily activity reports and shift communications per site requirements.
