Job summary

Allied Universal in Austin, TX is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Alarm Systems to join our team. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, respond to alarms, and deliver professional customer service while supporting government and other clients.

This full-time role requires an armed guard card/license, a valid driver’s license, and successful background and drug screening. We offer training, growth opportunities, and a benefits program.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Ability to operate a computer or tablet.
• Armed guard license/card required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, clients, and staff at government sites by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and per protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry per site procedures.
