This full-time role protects clients at aerospace/defense facilities, monitors access, patrols premises, and delivers professional customer service in line with Allied Universal’s values.

The position requires an active DoD Secret clearance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• 18+ (unarmed) or 21+ (armed) before employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter, documenting observations.
• Monitor access and verify credentials per site procedures to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations and notify appropriate contacts.
• Complete daily activity reports and shift communications per site requirements.

Pay Rate: $28.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, grounds, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and unusual conditions.
• Monitor access activity and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
