Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) in Shepherdsville, KY. You will patrol and monitor a logistics/distribution site, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service while conforming to site policies.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent, background check, drug screening where allowed, and a valid driver’s license for driving positions. Shifts run daytime to evening, with a focus on safety and teamwork at a busy site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal history considered under applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies; respond to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents, disruptions, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, vehicle entrances, trailer yards, interiors, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, driver, and contractor credentials per site procedures.
• Document observations and incidents, communicate with site contacts and leadership.
