Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, facility entrances, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while supporting the orderly flow of deliveries and operations.
