Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer—Unarmed Patrol Logbook in Shepherdsville, KY. You will conduct routine, unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers to deter incidents and ensure safety.

The role emphasizes providing excellent customer service, following site procedures, and documenting activities and incidents while supporting a culture of integrity and service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vehicle activity, and reporting irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
