Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a vigilant security officer to observe and report incidents at a client site in New York. The role requires standing for long portions of the shift and patrolling premises to protect people and property.

Schedule includes weekend and overnight shifts; starting pay is USD 18.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and benefits such as medical, vision, dental, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 year US work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at client sites.
• Patrol premises and monitor surveillance equipment.
• Complete reports with observations and signatures.
• Enforce site rules as directed by supervision.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Saturday, Sunday- 1200x1900 & Tuesday, Wednesday - 0000x0700

Pay Range

Starting from USD $18.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Must have valid drivers license
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
