Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a night shift security officer to observe, report, and protect client sites. The role requires a NYS Security Guard License, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to stand for long periods during a 32-hour weekly schedule from Sunday to Wednesday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

You will patrol properties, operate surveillance equipment, file clear reports, and follow site policies. This is an on-site, part-time position with competitive hourly pay up to USD 19 and a full

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Sunday-Wednesday 2300-0700 - 32 hours

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Must have valid drivers license
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
