Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking an overnight security officer to observe and report on-site activities, protect client property and personnel, and respond to incidents. The role requires standing for long periods and working Sunday to Wednesday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, totaling 32 hours per week.

Compensation is up to $19 per hour, with benefits and career opportunities available. Candidates should hold a High School Diploma or GED, a valid NYS Security Guard License, and a valid

• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must understand English and communicate effectively in speaking and writing.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at a client site to ensure security and safety.
• Make periodic site tours and enforce regulations as needed.
• Complete reports by recording observations and interviewing witnesses.
• Follow supervisor or manager assignments and maintain alertness during shifts.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Sunday-Wednesday 2300-0700 - 32 hours

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications
