Job summary

Allied Universal in Rancho Cordova, CA is seeking a part-time unarmed Security Officer to patrol and protect client sites across logistics and distribution locations. You will provide courteous customer service, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional presence.

The role offers flexible day/evening shifts with pay at $22.50 per hour and opportunities to earn more through our Claim a Shift platform and career growth programs.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular patrols of loading docks, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access to the distribution location, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols and observations and communicate information to site leadership.
