Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Grove City, OH to monitor a busy logistics location, provide customer service, deter incidents, and maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors.

You will perform unarmed patrols, respond to alarms and access concerns, document incidents, and communicate with site leadership to uphold site policies. This full-time role includes training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen per policy.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle lanes, employee entrances, parking areas, trailers, and the business perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe inbound and outbound activity to help deter unauthorized entry, theft, and other security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
