Job summary

Allied Universal in Jonestown, PA is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Assistance to protect clients across logistics and distribution facilities. You will patrol, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.

This role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state laws.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and maintain visitor, driver, and delivery records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Report maintenance concerns and other security-related issues according to site procedures.
