Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Badge Services in Mount Laurel, NJ to protect clients in logistics and distribution environments. You will monitor, patrol, and control access while delivering professional customer service.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour and a schedule from Tuesday through Saturday evenings. Training, advancement opportunities, and benefits are offered to join a growing national security team.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required by site procedures, and maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports.
• Support the orderly flow of vehicle, employee, and delivery traffic while communicating professionally with site personnel, drivers, and visitors.
