Allied Universal in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to patrol and safeguard clients across logistics locations. You will monitor areas, conduct rounds, deter incidents, and support access control while delivering professional customer service.

This full-time role offers a $18.00 per hour pay rate, with daytime and evening shifts, and a benefits-aware environment that values agility, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouses, docks, yards, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization; maintain daily reports.
• Support smooth flow of vehicle, employee, and delivery traffic; communicate professionally.
